Process:

· Single stage base-catalyzed transesterification.
· 200 gal of oil per batch.
· 44 gal of Methanol per batch.
· Approximately 20 lbs of KOH (potassium hydroxide) flakes or NaOH (sodium hydroxide) beads per batch.
· Uses approximately 150 gal of wash water per batch.
· 4 mist wash cycles.
· Fan-assisted spray drying.
· Closed circuit methoxide mixing by agitation.
· Automatic wash water draining (optional).
· 30-36 hours from start to finish.
